Santa Fe Indian School

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Architect: David Tinker of ASCG
Contractor: Flintco Constructive Solutions

The Santa Fe Indian School was established in 1890 as a federal off-reservation boarding school. The 104-acre campus is home to approximately 550 Native American students from 7th through 12th grades.

The 27,800 square foot Math, Science and Technology Building is the first of many new buildings in a rejuvenation of the existing campus. Also housed in this facility are a distance learning center and a community based education program.

Construction of Phase II, which totals over 290,000 square feet, began in February 2003. It includes a new middle school, a high school, male and female dormitories, a student life center, an administration building and maintenance and operations buildings.

Sierra Pacific was chosen to supply the double hung and picture windows for this noteworthy project.
